Years ago, I found myself drowning in holiday obligations, trying to be everything to everyone — manager, host, partner, parent, friend. I thought that by giving more, I would feel more fulfilled. After all, this is the season of giving, right? So why did I feel empty, lost, and resentful? My spirit was exhausted. In a rare quiet moment, I stumbled upon this quote:
“You are never alone. Spirit walks with you.”
and it struck me with profound clarity. I realized that Spirit was always walking with me, but I had been too busy to feel it. I needed to reconnect with my own peace and allow Spirit to guide me back to balance.
That year, I chose to honor my boundaries, listen to my intuition, and embrace self-care as an act of sacred responsibility. It changed everything.
